Become a Powerful Ambassador for Somatics

If you’ve spent any time at all studying somatics, you already know how hard it can be to explain this work to your friends, family, and colleagues, much less a potential client.  It can be frustrating to have such tremendously powerful tools at your disposal, but be unable to share them because you can’t convey the value.  Sadly, if you can’t help your audience see the potential then they – and you – lose out.

The trouble is that the English language doesn’t have words that accurately convey the holistic experience of somatic learning.  Our everyday language is rooted in an assumed split between mind and body.  When you try to speak into this old set of assumptions with new paradigm language, it simply doesn’t land.  (Oh, those painful blank stares!)

The trick is to build a bridge between the more holistic understanding you’ve developed as a somatic practitioner and the day-to-day concerns of your audience.  This means knowing your audience, connecting with what they care about, and translating the experiential value of somatics into tangible, practical language that speaks directly to those concerns.

I’ve found that by combining a deep understanding of my audience and their needs with a strong understanding of the science that supports a somatic approach to learning, I’ve been able to convey the value of somatics to more people more easily.

I’ve been told I have a particular gift for making this work clear and accessible.  Since 2007, I have devoted myself full time to figuring out how to speak about somatics in a compelling way.  There’s no reason you should have to reinvent the wheel!  Please leverage my hard work here.  Together, we can make somatics more accessible to many more people.

How Will This Course Help?

This course combines the best of what I have learned about marketing, writing, speaking, and the science of somatics.  By the end of the course, you will…

  • Identify your target audience, if you haven’t already
  • Better understand the concerns and problems that they really need to address
  • Know what outcomes you can produce for them
  • Be able to speak about how somatics is uniquely powerful at producing those benefits
  • Support your claims by drawing on recent scientific research in a responsible way
  • Have a one-page narrative about your work that you can draw upon again and again as you extend somatics out into the world

All of this adds up to making a compelling promise that you can stand behind and keep.

Join the Beta Tester Team

When this class officially goes live, I plan to charge $450 for it.  But first I want to pilot it with a small group to get feedback, refine the exercises, and make sure it’s in excellent shape before bringing it to a larger audience.

If you want to be one of a handful of select beta testers, you’ll get a discounted price for the course.  In exchange, I’ll be asking for your full participation, your written feedback each week, and your feedback at the end of the course.

Beta Tester Price: $450 $175

Ready to Roll?

I’m looking for beta testers who have studied somatics at some level of depth, who have an audience that they are actively working with (or one in mind that they want to work with) and who are committed to participating fully in the course.

You can apply to be a beta tester – and ask any questions you might have – below.
